An energetic, different kid. Is he ADD? Or is he just a normal kid being a kid? With both parents pulling at different ends of the rope, the question of what means to be normal in today's society is addressed at different stages of the play. An emotional and psychologically chaotic journey.

The “wood planks” that made the floor for the set were snapped and painted individually to achieve a quasi-faux-finish, over sheets of luan, that were later attached to the platforms on stage.

Keeping track of color continuity, and variety, was key during the painting process.

Planks' direction

As an extension of the chaos the characters in this play live in, the direction of the planks changed radically between the platforms and main stage level, visually supporting the whole concept.
