Supporting platforms.
To structurally support the piles of stuff that conform the set, two platforms were built and painted, with the platform being flat black, vignetting into a distressed look for the legs.
Washes applied with dry brush in grey, dark brown, and black.
Blocking and spatter with white and black.
Pile placement and in-site paiting/touchups
Joint compound, sanded down to polish the surface.
Wet blend with bright red and medium brown.
One side had to be distressed significantly more than the other, to suggest the use of each side of the interrogation table.
The table’s base was installed later and painted to match the top.
The interrogation table was sealed with clear satin polyacrylic.
