The scenic treatment for the rotating platform was inspired by a forest floor (with leaves of different sizes and qualities, spreading all over in irregular patterns).

The color scheme is vivid, with accents of colors that relate to the bungee cords around the platform, but that altogether do not overwhelm the presence of the actors on stage.

Pieces of masonite were cut to shape, to be later stapled down to the platform’s structure once the paint job was finished.

A base coat of light green was first applied, followed by the “leaf patterns” using foliage techniques.

Layers of spattering in purple and yellow were applied, in order to add depth to the pieces.
